Hogwarts' House of Friendship - and unfortunately due to its choice of members unjustily scoffed.
Founder: Helga Hufflepuff
House colours: yellow and black
Heraldic animal: Meles meles.
In English: the Badger.
Myself: Proud member of this House, of which the common room has never ever been found by outsiders in Hogwarts' history. Our security system is simply too creative and unnerving. Even for the sliest and most patient Ravenclaws. :)
And therefore, I would also like to bestow the well deserved honour to the least respected House of all, in hope to never reach the gauge of our venerable Mother Helga. ^^;
Costume Info
To my fortune I of course found a matching fabric in the colours of our House(although with a hint of red), and to my grandest pleasure, a tartan one!(Albeit some
claim Helga to be Welsh, Hogwarts stands in Scotland after all.)
The dress itself is a quite arbitrary experiment without use of sewing patterns, but is based on traditional Medieval as well as traditional Scottish attire.
Naturally also a Tam O'Shanter and Sporran belong to the outfit.
Obligatory are the selfmade badger-pendant(which received a Hufflepuff style string now!) and badger-buttons out of
brass.
Originally the waistband was set to be lower, which explains the four buttons. I still can't decide what to do with the fourth, though. Maybe it'll become part of
another bag or somehow added to the Tam.
