Miscellaneous naturally occurring, annual ankle sprains, for example at the Nippon Nation, in the long past July, are something I don't want to mention here. As, they're long past already.
Specifically we're dealing with the AkiCon in Graz. So to say, my - home-con. Yes, meanwhile there's a second one in Graz, the Hanami, but the Aki is still my home-con. It was my second con ever(see 2014) and the con I'd won my first contest at(2015, as well as second place in 2016).
This time however, there won't be a contest for me. The reason: rule 12.
To clarify what this is about, I would like to quote the AkiCon website 1:1:
"Wir begrüßen selbstgemachte Kostüme. Da jedoch der Wettbewerb in dieser Form seinen Fokus allein auf die Vorführung legt, sind auch gekaufte oder von Dritten angefertigte Kostüme erlaubt."
As the website has not been translated to English this year, I would like to do this as well:
"We welcome self-made costumes. Since however the contest in its concept focuses on the performance only, bought costumes and such made by a third party are permitted as well."
And with that, sadly, I meet a personal issue. Yes, I honestly don't care who made what regarding Cosplay in general. It's about the fun. But allowing 100% bought and costumes made by others to a contest AS WELL, is a punch in the gut of all for me, all those who made their costumes themselves, and then merely get the chance to compete in a sort of theatre play.
Of course there's the X-Cosplay contest, that solely deals with the costume. Yet it is like a catwalk and some participants will likely see it the way I do: it is unfair, that self-made things only get 45 seconds, while bought stuff gets to appear on stage for up to 3 minutes.
In my opinion there should have been 3 contests at least. Therefore I boycott both contests this year and will just have fun. Without stress.
Thank you for your attention.

It took long, but I finally updated the layout of the entire website. This task brought me a lot of assembling and formatting, but apart from the wonderful new header images being cropped on my new monitor(it is broader, but it's possible to adjust that by changing the browser window size!), I'm quite happy with the result. By this I have though lost the uniform layout - also on the mobile version - but the new layout does look a bit better, is(possibly) healthier for the eyes, and saves a load of save space.
Therefore have fun browsing while I continue to try uploading already finished things.
Next con by the way is NipponNation in Vienna at the beginning of July, but more on that, as usual, in the Events. :)

??? Take THIS, you early bird! XD No, really, like with the last contest, I didn't want to participate. By the enter deadline I didn't even know what to wear at the con, so I dismissed it.
But then I saw the deadline had been extended - right on the new deadline day. So 2 hours before the end, I decided to just go for it. Like last time, thinking I could always chose not to enter. lol
Yeah. That's me. Seems I'm Gandalf. Well, actually I won as Thranduil, but never mind.
Thanks to everyone who made it possible though! ^^;;;

Well..what can I say..that went faster than I thought..and that in spite of that reformatting compulsion..
Within the last 3 days(lol) I have actually managed to completely outsource Three Days - and a bit more..! All so far released 21 chapters, including more corrections, and that in 2 languages! And now? Now we get to the "a bit more" part. Which means as much as getting the overhauled version onto DeviantArt and Fanfiction.net. More reformatting. Yessssssss. Oh how I love that. I'm even almost glad that Y!Gallery had a total crash and the admins are still busy reviving the page. :(
I though want to apologise to my readers for one thing: I have developed. Things like chapter info and author's comments are now ancient history. You won't find them in a book either, will you? So be glad you are still allowed (or rather desired) to put your oar in. ^_______^
Also I want to try at least getting the prologue of Until I Die online. I have promised the publication of the story last January already. This year it should (PLEASE) happen. Thank you for your patience.

After 10 days of nerve wrecking work, the time has finally come. Art as well as FanFictions emulate Cosplay. Which means just as much as that I separated these areas from my novels' page at last. Though that means that the N.E.W.S. there will get even more quiet, but I'm not walking this earth to constantly tell everyone what I'm currently doing. That's what Twitter is for. ;) All news run individually as of now. So if you want news from a certain project, you don't need to bother yourself anymore with things you're not interested in. However, I reserve myself the right to publish big announcements everywhere; of course with the respective links.
That thing with the confusion will go by, as all pages are carefully linked to each other. So don't panic.
Have fun browsing again or completely newly. =)
P.S: My FanFictions will remain on the novels' page for now, until I fully relocated them to the most recent published chapter. This will take some time though, since I'm still attending uni and also need to dedicate to two cosplays until April. Thank you for your understanding.

We have arrived. 2016, the star-killing year is over and all that is left of it is a pitchman with a flannel on his head - uh - forgive me. I used to attend an art school and there we were, inter alia, taught to not swallow down our political opinion.
Now.
Since it seems making 2 sets of armour and attending 3 proper cons wasn't enough, I decided it would be fun to try making it to at least 4 conventions this year. I may have mentioned my plans before, but this year I will try to concentrate on finishing stuff. The only new one will be Rapunzel from Disney's Tangled and that pink hell of fabric shopping will cost me too much energy anyway.
My con schedule has been updated and you can find it as always on the right, or properly if you scroll down a little further. ;) Luckily two of them are in my home city(yes, finally Graz has a second con :D ), which is actually why I simply can't not attend. ^^; But that's a whole different chapter.
This week I'm busy sorting stuff and next week I'll hopefully be able to continue either Thranduil or my Demiguise plushie. We'll see.
P.S.: 11 years ago Joanne Kathleen Rowling finished writing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in a hotel room.
Oh and no, I will not make a post in 3 days. Yes, probably I should, but the pain is still too real, although it will have been a year since Alan left his mortal body behind for a new task. :(
