No, it is not THE end. The headline is just meant ironical. It means I finally managed to upload all progress of the Goddess of Time
and therefore you can visit the area now. And you will have plenty of - time - for that.
Because this is the last news update for 2016.
I would like to uses it to thank you a for your support this year and wish you a wonderful Christmas as well as a great start into the year 2017, with a candle of new hope burning, and one as a reminder in honour of all the good souls that left us this year to fulfill a new task.

After two months silence, I can finally tell you the reason:

I. Was. Busy. Yeah. What a surprise.
Well, I was really busy finishing the Goddess of Time for Vienna Comic Con - if you look at the right, you might see that I intend to attend the next one too. ;) Until I have arranged the cosplay's page, you will have to be happy finding my convention schedule updated. You can find it, as always in the upcoming events.
For next year, I DO have one new cosplay planned, which is Disney's Rapunzel(after her hair is - oh well, spoiler alert, if you haven't seen "Tangled" yet..), but basically I will try to focus on finishing projects I started. First and foremost, I would like to see how far I can get with Thranduil, Twilight Princess Zelda and the Deku Princess. We'll see.

It appears, I hit a home run again..and that among so many awesome cosplayers! I feel truly honoured! The level this year was really high! So congratulations to everyone who won a thing! And to those who didn't, YOU WERE EPIC TOO! THE DECISION WASN'T EASY, THAT MUCH I'VE HEARD!
Just a few things I'd like to add:
Although the certificate looks nice this year and last year's may have been a last-minute-print, but at least it had even the cosplay on. And one could read the cosplayer's name properly. ;)
What about combining a nice template and nice paper? Printing a page takes - what? Less time than announcing a winner..just saying.
But other than that, everything went so well and smooth. Sure, the mandatory chaos was there, but what's life without a little chaos. I should know, as my life is the definition of it, and even the - I don't want to name *cough* ORF *cough* here - can't make a live show without backstage mayhem. So.. WELL DONE, EVERYONE!
It was a really wonderful and smooth con. No big trouble, DESPITE YOU WHOSE EYES AND NOSE I HAVE SEEN TOO LATE! RUNNING AROUND WITH A FREE-HUGS-SIGN WHEN BEING SICK IS NOT EXACTLY NICE! But
yeah, other than that, it was great.
See you at AkiCon Graz next year, October

As said, I caught a rather spectacular cold there. So any photos I may have, be they from the con or progress of the Goddess of Time, will have to wait. But you'll get them. Surer than those from HobbitCon. That's a promise.

What is the fascination behind cosplaying for you?
Me:
For me it is generally the crafting, since I make everything myself, and simply being the character you love, slipping into the role for at least a day, and meeting friends. But as I come from art business; due to having attended a technical art high school; it is really mainly the crafting.

With joy I may announce that there is a "small" change regarding my lineup for AkiCon Graz! Since I can fairly walk again, Luna decided to make a sacrifice.
Instead Thranduil will be there on Saturday, in full armour. Hermione is still a thing on Sunday.

So I went to DeviantArt to check my messages and - stared at the count for a couple of
seconds. I thought somebody had spread the old news that I love Llama badges or that an old friend of mine was back, but the number was so insanely high, I already believed it was a
bug.
Yet then I checked - and - figured - after more staring - and uncontrollably freaking out, that two days ago my two babies (Thranduil's Swords - you find the
costume here) have been awarded with a Daily Deviation!!!!!
(For those who don't know what that is, it's only about the biggest award you can get there, really. Next to a mention in a featured article by the admins.
So..)

Since I managed to catch myself a limp again, I had
to make other arrangements.
The project I have been working on, won't make it to any event before Vienna Comic Con 2016. I don't want to rush, just to feel uncomfortable in it, or even go
w/o props.
So only Closet-Cosplay for AkiCon Graz. I will be there either as Hermione or Luna (or Tonks, depending on what my friend will do, lol) in a quickly thrown together school uniform. Dunno which day will be which. Rather Luna on Saturday, so my eyes can relax from the lenses on Sunday. (I'm constantly tired,
therefore..)
Still excited though. Just a little disappointed I can't debut the Goddess of Time in my home city. I could, but that would mean I
am not granted more than two hours sleep per remaining night. No, never again.
But this way I can build in LEDs, go with proper cards too and you will be getting to see progress photos before it's done(maybe). :3
And with this I can already gladly say what you'll be seeing in Vienna:

At last I managed to - uhm - release(?!?!?!!!) - last year's Hallowe'en cosplay. But don't search in the Hallowe'en section, go here. And really, read my info on The Last of Us first, before you check out the Clicker. This is not for attention, but your own wealth.
Secondly I have removed the "Finished Costumes" page, as it was rather useless and just consuming space on screen and in storage. Yet the info isn't lost. I simply marked the respective icons on the home page with a nice silver F.
Now I will try to also get the White Tartan dress online. Then it's already working for AkiCon and ViennaComicCon. Gotta get stuff going. ^^;

After the already mentioned occurance 2 months ago, the Con does finally have a website again. You can find it here: aki-con.at
In addition ticket sales have begun. October's not far, so grab them! ^^
Of course I have restored all links to the Aki on my website with the new domain.
But that's not all that has happened. Unfortunately I can't provide you any pictures yet of the two costumes I'm currently working on, but an old one is finally online: my Hufflepuff Ball Gown! Take a look!
Furthermore I have updated the Events. There is yet more to come..

In all of the excitement over E3 Zelda news (the new WiiU game finally has a sub-title: "Breath of the Wild" and clearly beats most aspects of Skyrim in terms of gameplay. Sure it's different, but I NEEEEED this game as soon as possible!)and excessive drawing of sword templates, I nearly forgot to - uh - LINK - this here. lol
It's basically a few con-vlogs and cosplay plans/recap of the last 12 months.

Finally, as promised, 2 weeks after HobbitCon4, I uploaded all progress pictures of my Thranduil Cosplay so far. This is my first self-crafted trip to Middle-Earth. There is yet more to come and I'm still sorting convention photos, but until then, you can read everything about this crazy project

HobbitCon4 was a blast, I'm completely wasted, back in Austria and hope I can finally put the - EMPTY - suitcase back into the cellar. :/
A more detailed report of HobbitCon as well as pictures and FINALLY the reveal of said project will follow when I've managed to get some sleep.
This, however, already happened: the Con-Scedule on the right has had an addition to its family. If so has my purse, autumn will be crammed(maybe more than listed). That, as said, depends on my financial possibilities, as well as a probable chance to travel to Berlin(no date set yet).
In addition there's now the possibility to order a sort of Newsletter. Aka "small, says it all, no need for a search-recall". I can't force everyone to keep their eyes open for any sign of life of mine, can I? :)

Actually the headline is saying it all. I'm barely alive, and pretty much going mad. But otherwise everything is in best disorder. Preparations for HobbitCon (1.-3.April) are running wild and I hope I can still find time to launch the respective costume category. But your hopes shouldn't be too high. Latest a week
after I'd probably manage. ^^;
Until then, YES, I CONFESS, YOU CAN EXPERIENCE ME AS AN INSANE THRANDUIL. Uh - no worries. I'll know to behave. Just let me tell you this, I am that thing with the anti-spider-petition(code word:
