(no headline this time, since it's pretty obvious)

2 more days to go. 2 more and this frigging year will be over. Of course there were some great highlights for me, like of course my rather hesitant yet stressful physical step into the world of cosplay that brought me loads of new skills and experiences or my travel to Egypt in February - things like my first sewn dress and skirt, my first armour, shield or staff - learning how to NOT fix such (lol) - my first time working with so many materials like gesso, latex or resin - I've sewn a coat -

Yes, many things happened this year and I'm sure I just won't name them all here because I'm too tired to think back. XD
So naturally I'm really glad this year is over and I hope next year will be better, although I'm facing a stressful first 3 months of it. -.-

So here is this quick information thingie I would just like to share with you all before I say goodbye to 2014 and you all for the next couple of weeks.

You can see, there's old as well as new stuff. Just like I mentioned, I want to finish
- Esmeralda
- Gothic Poison Ivy and
- the Blackreach Wizard Guard(plus Keening), as well as
- Twilight Princess Link.

There's also a number of dresses I would like to make:
- a reversible red and blue tartan skirt and top,
- another Hufflepuff Dress but this time a little mor classy(and of course a tie!!!)
- and a black and white score dress to this wonderful necklace I got for Christmas from my aunt.

Oh yes - and just a couple of ears. XD We'll see how far I can go.

Loads to do, loads to do. Especially since I also want to launch my Harry Potter fic "Until I Die" and somewhen wish to publish the next chapters of "Three Days".
...and find a job next to university... argh! Did I mention that I spent more than 1000€ this year on "cosplay" matter? (although only a third of it on things I've officially worn) Plus the ~100€ for this coat I just submitted? This is horrible.

P.S.: I had to hold my hand over my head because it would have been too yellow/white otherwise. Stupid light. :| But my first try of Tauriel's hair style didn't turn out perfect anyway. I would have needed to start lower - and now I know why there's this common law among Cosplayers: "TAKE A WIG!!!!!!" Well, I only say loss of hair. >:[ I should use a conditioner again.
And the ears - uh yes. Elbbits? XD Some mix of those. I don't really like these Elbish ears. Only Legolas' appear rather natural. But if you saw what kind of - sails - some of those other Elbs in Middle Earth without the Middle have...

Finally! At last I managed to launch a very imortant costume here and at the same time the area with the most information on any project(mostly ingame background story): the Blackreach Wizard Guard!

This costume is my own version of a Dwemer armour from the videogame The Elder Scrolls 5 - Skyrim. But of course you can find all the information by clicking the link above.
Though there are still some details to be done(like the embroidery, fixing certain parts better or my very dream to have my own Keening - a powerful Dwemer dagger), I will dare to give you loads of insight. Should anyone wish me to reveal all of the Dwemer history to you, I will of course spend the next year making an entire book about them. ;) Yes, I would love to collect all the information, as long as Bethesda doesn't get me arrested for it. lol We'll see.

Meanwhile I'm already making plans for next year.

As you surely have seen on the right, I have updated my Convention Schedule. Therefore you'll "quite certainly" get to see me in Vienna a couple of times next year. I plan on finishing the Blackreach Wizard Guard, Esmeralda's corset, Poison Ivy and TP Link. I think that's gonna have me all booked then. After all I still want to continue university and I need to find a job once and for all. :/

But enough of that. Gotta work on some Vampire ears now.

YAAAAAAY!!!! :D :D :D

Finally. And absolutely unexpectedly. XD

I had the chance to attend AniNite in Schwechat. Just for half a day, but it was amazing! ^______________^

Unfortunately, even though I'd like to repeat it again and again, I will not give you any details here, as they are already on the page of my newly and especially for this con made Disney costume: Esmeralda!!!

If you want to see some photos of the con, I've uploaded a selection of them to the Events.

Due to a lack of space I can't put all of them on here, but you can see them on my Facebook Page. :/

Next to the start of term at university, which is in a month, I will attend the ACTUAL first convention I planned to go to:

My scedule will be dependent on the convention's scedule. And I hate it that the admins take their time with that. :/

Nevertheless I will try to make a very complicated costume, a personal design for TES V - Skyrim:

A Blackreach Wizard Guard

I designed the costume completely by myself. Unfortunately I cannot reveal the concept before I am done with the costume. It would just take much more time making it pretty for people to figure what this is all about.

Information on it will be available on here as soon as possible.
In addition I plan on making a video walkthrough, meaning, I film the whole process of the costume and props, cut it together, speed it up and add some nice music. Don't worry, I will tell you when it is online. Should be somewhere in the later days of October/early November.

The emergency plan is of course finishing the corset for Esmeralda and making some lovely fitting goggles. XD We'll see.

Somewhere, somehow, it has come to my attention that there is something like an International Wig Day. And that is supposedly set to be on the 24th of July. Of course that pleases me most! :D Unfortunately, due to my current whereabouts, I can't wear a wig today, but I just cannot let that day pass up either!

So I'd best honour it with a collage of me in - most of my wigs. :P I have a couple more, but we don't want to overdo it, do we? :3

I decided not to take the wig fitting for the original version of Poison Ivy, but one I bought accidentally - yes, might sound a little weird now, but it's a long story.

Anyway, the necklace, shoes and better wig are online now. Just take a look yourself. ;)

Too bad actually that I should be playing on a wedding on the weekend of ViennaComix. Now I really don't know whether I'll attend the wedding or the con. :( Sh**.

Well, I'll finish the costume either way. Next to it I want to make 2 costumes for AkiCon, the already mentioned Steampunk version of "???" and an original creation - a homage to Blackreach in Skyrim. We'll see. :)

Okay. Finally I get it up on here, and now even the date fits. XD

Well, that's what Cosplayers go to the brass band rehearsal to! (actually just because it's my birthday lol) So, if you feel a certain urge, you have to give in to it!!! But please not if that means you're going to harm someone. :(

Anyway, I had fun (with both wearing that stuff AND seeing the reactions...) :) - and I hope I didn't harm anyone. :P

Now that I finally got back my embarassingly lost password, I can upload all the updates.

And here we really go::

I effectively work on TP Link's weapons, Poison Ivy and the famous "???" - specially for AkiCon in a Steampunk-variation(of course the complete original will follow, but, Convention first!)

Yes, you read right, there are Conventions on my schedule! :D :D :D

Whether I can make it to AniNite (with "??" - still worried about the strings for the harp) is still questionable, but it's in the last week of August anyway.

Herewith I will move on to the newest change: From now on there will be a Convention-Schedul on this website so you know whenn and where(hopefully ^^;) you can finally get to see me.

Original Creations category added, including some progress pics of my Red Queen costume.

Finally I've got a wig for Bellatrix. Well, actually it's 2 that I will have to sew together, but that will be fun. ^^

And you can't imagine how hard it is to get blades for Stanley knives around here. You get knives in all variations, but I already have 3 different ones(old tough relics), though no refillings in sight. :/

P.S.: There will be 4 possible variations(got the wigs, one will be my real hair) of a Legend of Zelda character, but "they" will be made hand in hand with Poison Ivy... maybe you can figure "them" out. ;)

First of all - a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our beloved Severus! ^^

(I know, some people will call me nuts, but I don't care.)

Right - er - a new year, and half of my financial Christmas presents has already been deposited in several stores for the wealfare of economy. *sigh*

BUT, that means I finally have all the fabric for my Cremia costume(linen!) and also most for TP Link. Due to downright mandatory weight fluctuations because of the Christmas Holidays, I will have to wait and consider what to do about the pants. Never mind.

And although my store of choice is still working on filling their stock, I already helped them emptying it by buying three new wigs. One's for Luna, another the one I bought for Jasmine a year ago. Its just of phenomenal quality for it's price and I can think of so many ways to use it. The third is red and - well, I'm so unlucky with the costumes that require red wigs, it seems something in me decided to buy any nearly useful looking red wig under 25€ that comes in my way. O.o Well, that's called retirement planning.

Photos will follow when I have time though. Like usual, please be patient. :3 I'm as well with myself. So is the space in my room. Incredible how much is already in there and still will fit in somehow. x_x

I also figured a nice way for a little side income, but that will have to wait until next winter. There's no fitting maket/bazar around here these days and I hardly think people will be interested to buy snowball eardrops right now anyway.

Now I only need to win a million bucks so I can buy that house that's been empty and waiting for us alone on that hill for several years now... ;)

P.S.: I have sewn a tartan Tam O'Shanter without patterns or instructions. Such stuff will get its own category as well, once I find the time and mood to. So, keep looking out for it. :)
